Winery signs have to be carefully designed and crafted by hand to complement the craft of winemaking. This sign is made from HDU (High Density Urethane) laminated to a PVC backing for added strength. HDU is a durable wood substitute that looks like wood and carves like wood but unlike wood, its weatherproof. The text and decorative lines are carved by hand into the face of the sign and gilded with genuine gold leaf. The sign is mounted on one of our standard aluminum wall mount hangers.
