Here’s a good example of an existing logo transformed into a 3-dimensional winery sign. The logo with the golden sky, green hill and red barn roof was crafted from a separate panel of High Density Urethane mounted onto the sign face. You can see the textured look of the green hill, an effect our artisans call “chip-carving.” Chip- carving is a technique we use frequently for signs and it is achieved by making many tiny dish-shaped gouges with a curved “sweep” chisel. In the production of impressive signage, technique is everything. Our artisans have mastered many techniques for various effects so that you can get the customized winery sign you’re looking for.

In this case the sign has two face colors, white and red, and the text is hand carved. The wide expanse of white sign face surrounding the logo focuses the eye on the logo itself. The sign also features a hand-carved removable subsign.
