In this design weve employed the golden rule of design: “Less is More". In other words, the less clutter you have on a sign, the greater impact the sign will have on the viewer. This winery sign is a perfect example of this principle. The sign tells you what you need to know and leaves no room for confusion. The graceful text was hand carved into the sign face and gilded with real 23k gold leaf. The accent groove was gilded as well and serves as a unifying border to the whole design. The cluster of ripe luscious grapes looks good enough to eat but actually its hand sculpted from high-density urethane and painted with durable exterior artists acrylics.
