Cullari Winery Sign

Cullari Vineyards is a family-owned and operated business that's been producing fine wines for years. Using the text from the company label as a springboard, our design team put together the design for this winery sign and our artisans made their vision into reality. We developed the image of the wine bottle and glasses, which can now be used by Cullari on business cards, flyers etc. The image was hand sculpted and painted with durable exterior artist's acrylics. The main panel of the sign is made of High Density Urethane (HDU), a weatherproof wood substitute, laminated to a backing of PVC for added stability. In the top portion of the sign, the cream-colored background sets off the artwork and vineyard name, which was carved by hand into the sign face. The words “Vineyards & Winery" were hand carved and gilded with real 23k gold leaf. To create enough contrast, we painted the background the color of dark red wine. Our unique aluminum sign hanging system fixes this sign to its posts and supports the sign structure as well.
