Elegant hand carved signs in a sign system can make even an ordinary trail seem important. The trail in this sign system is clearly marked using the little cranberry sprig as a motif. The hand-sculpted berries are painted while the leaves are gilded with 23-karat gold leaf. The combination of red, black, and gold gives the whole sign system a sturdy but energetic feel. The black trim on the top of the main sign gives the sign extra weight and authority.
