The butcher himself is an original piece of artwork, hand sculpted from HDU, a durable wood substitute, and painted with acrylics. His striped blue apron echoes the royal blue sign face. He shines from his black arched background as if standing in an open doorway. The black color is repeated in the trim on top of the sign.
