This custom handcrafted restaurant sign is a good example of our painted wood sign effects. The effect was achieved by combining two of our standard paints, Java and Ivoire. The classic shape and European style lettering give this sign an old-world feel. The customer wanted a real wood sign, but knew that the sign would be exposed to severe hot/cold weather cycles and did not relish the thought of refinishing it every few years. By choosing a hand carved and painted sign made from weatherproof High Density Urethane, they got the best of both worlds.
