The Art of Creating Wood Sign Effects

Signs such as these are made of HDU, high-density urethane, a weather-proof sign board, with a PVC core for resilience and strength. These signs have all the look of wood signs but will not split, crack, or warp.

Wood Sign Effects - Textured

For a rustic or wild west look, this is the perfect wood sign effect. The texture is grained into the surface of the sign with chisels and a wire brush. After the piece is beautifully textured with knots, whorls, and wood grain, it is primed and hand-painted with a special driftwood color scheme of paints. The special effect must be done over the entire sign, especially around the edges, in order to achieve the desired overall wood sign effect.
