The main requirement from the client for this monument sign was for a sand stone “look" to match the pre-existing real stonewall. Hand-distressed and painted High Density Urethane was used to achieve this effect. The raised letters that make up the background were prism carved and the sub text carved into the substrate. No wood or other materials that break down in the weather were used in creating this enormous monument sign.
