This park sign is a good example of the way we combine handcrafted signs and artwork with removable messages and magnetic letters. The display panel at the top of the sign is made from a HDU (High Density Urethane), a weatherproof wood substitute. The letters of “Welcome to Ohiopyle" were carved into the sign face and gilded with real 23-karat gold. The pictorial of a waterfall is an original artist painting executed in durable exterior acrylics on a separate piece of HDU and mounted onto the sign face. A custom magnet board hangs in the center of the sign and carries changing messages about local events. The magnetic message board is flanked by series of removable subsigns, which direct visitors to local points of interest. Since the sign is built to last while the surrounding area changes, the subsigns are designed to be easily changeable as well. Other options we offer for multiple signs are sign systems and directional signs.
