"My husband and I now own the family cottage that my great grandparents built in 1924. At the time the cottage was built there was a sign that hung on the road side that said "Bird's Nest". Bird was my great-grandmother's nick name. The sign was no big deal, just a piece of wood painted white with "Bird's Nest" painted in green. Both of my children are artist as well as myself and for the past five years we have all come up with various designs and various ways of executing these designs but could never agree on any one design. My husband was surfing the web for 'Bird's Nest" and somehow ended up at Spring Valley Signs. I fell in love with the beautiful art and the vibrant colors of the signs on their web site and thought I'd enquire. It was all so very easy. I let them know what I was looking for they sent me a rough draft, I made a few corrections and then wa-la!!! I have a gorgeous sign that reflects the root meaning of our summer home.My great-grandfather painted that first sign to dedicate their little piece of heaven on the lake to the woman he loved. I am so proud to honor them with this sign. I couldn't be more pleased. It is truly a beautiful sign and it was all so very easy to work with the staff at Spring Valley Signs. If the artist in this house were still working on it....well, let's just say it would be a long time before it was finished!
