Getting Your Sign

Our simple step by step process:

1. Consultation

We usually start with a fifteen minute phone interview. We discuss key marketing and design questions: What do you need your sign to accomplish? What do you want people to do once they’ve seen your sign? From what distance must your sign be readable? This consultation is free.

2. Pricing

The sign price consists of a Design Fee and a Fabrication Fee.

• Design Fee: Once we’ve determined your objectives and you have decided to engage us, we will ask for a non-refundable design fee in order to design a single sign or series of related signs:
  Option 1: $200
  Option 2: 50% of total anticipated sign cost, which will be applied to the fabrication fee
• Fabrication Fee: For a price quote contact us.

3. Design

Upon payment of the design fee, Spring Valley Signs will create a custom design to your specifications. This takes about one week. We will design a sign that stays within your predetermined budget. Your design fee covers the skilled time that goes into the design work. Payment of the design fee allows use of the design on labels, brochures, stationery, websites, and garments at no additional charge, to the extent you may do so without violating any laws or anyone’s proprietary rights. Spring Valley Signs is to be the sole fabricator of any sign we have designed. We also reserve the right to display images of our signs for marketing, advertising, and portfolio purposes. You are responsible for ensuring that the content of the sign does not violate any laws or anyone’s proprietary rights, as well as ensuring that the sign complies with municipal and other requirements.

4. Fabrication

Once you've approved your custom design, it takes us about five weeks to complete the handcrafting of your sign. If you choose Design Fee Option 1, we ask for a 50% payment of the quoted fabrication fee before we begin fabrication. The balance of the fabrication fee (including shipping) is due upon completion of production of the sign. Full payment is required prior to pick-up or delivery.

5. Delivery / Installation

Spring Valley Signs creates signs for clients all over the world. If you are too far away to pick up your sign, we can arrange for shipping. You are responsible for installing your sign. Posts are not included. Spring Valley Signs’ fabrication fee does not cover the cost of shipping or installation. Sales tax will be added as appropriate.
